  • Venue and Parking

    All participants, volunteers and attendees will park at the Forbes Garage, located at 1180 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15219 — just 50 yards from the Cooper Fieldhouse. Look for Team Foster flags!


    Directions:


    From Forbes Ave., enter the garage via the second entrance at the east end of the garage.

    To help you find it easily, View on Google Street View.

    Getting to the Fieldhouse:


    Take the elevator or stairs to Level 1 to exit onto Forbes Ave.

    Walk east (right) — Cooper Fieldhouse will be directly ahead.

    Parking Pass Details:


    Cost: FREE for Ruff Ride participants, volunteers, and attendees.

    Parking is covered with a valid Ruff Ride Parking Pass (this will be sent via email a few days prior to Ruff Ride Pittsburgh). Copies will also available at the registration desk.


    Instructions:


    Pull a regular ticket when entering the garage

    Place your Ruff Ride Parking Pass on the dashboard

    When exiting, scan your ticket, then scan the QR code on the pass to validate and exit

    Overnight parking is permitted only with the pass visible on your dashboard

  • Fundraising

    Every team commits to raising at least $3,000 with each rider committed to just raising $125 to start. But here’s where it gets next-level:

    Teams that raise $5,000+ and/or individuals who hit $500+ unlock VIP perks you won't want to miss! Crank up the fundraising, rally your crew, and ride your way to VIP status.

  • Team Managment

    You must have at least 6 people on your team but may have up to as many riders on your team as you want. Your teammates can ride for 15 minutes or 5 hours- each rider may ride as little or as much as your team decides.

  • Volunteer

    Our dedicated volunteers are the heart of Team Foster's mission, playing a vital role in every aspect of Ruff Ride. Their unwavering commitment, passion, and hard work help us deliver essential services to Veterans and their families.

  • Pack Your Bags

    • Layers and a change of clothes.
    • Grab some bike shorts. Thank us later.
    • Sneakers and/or cycling shoes with SPD clips. (SPD Clips not required
    • Comfy shoes for when you are not on the bike.
    • Refillable water bottle to stay hydrated (water is provided).
    • Chairs, cots, a sleeping bag, etc.
    • Whatever you need to make your team area comfortable for the long haul.
    • Phone and charger to share, take selfies, (recruit more peeps?) and show the world you took on Ruff Ride!
